The Raising Scarlet sound is defined by the husband & wife musical team of Tammy Lynn and Mike Myles.
Raising Scarlet is a high energy, four piece band from Manchester, NH. Raising Scarlet plays a mix of covers and originals in the styles of Rockabilly, Blues, and Rock & Roll - all with an upbeat infectious dance groove and exciting live performance that guarantees a good time for all.
As lead singer, songwriter, guitarist, founder, and front-woman Tammy Lynn is both beauty and brains behind Raising Scarlet. Her unstoppable creative force and boundless energy come through loud and clear in her music and live performances. Whether it's raw rock & roll, soulful grooves or a tender love song Tammy's musical talents and diversity are a very rare find. And all that done live with the flare and confidence that reaches out and grabs an audience.
On guitar, vocals, and harmonica is Mike Myles. Mike has his own particular playing style grounded in blues, rock, and funk, with hints of jazz and other influences. Both eclectic and accessible - his music encompasses everything from groove heavy, riff driven rock to complex layered tones.
On bass is Mike Solis. Mike brings a killer bass sound and keen musical sense to the project. Mike has a degree in music and experience playing blues, funk, rock and jazz. He has a tasteful and confident approach, always doing what's right for the song.
On drums - Cameron Thomas. Cameron's a New Hampshire native, USAF vet, weather guy (been on WZID, WQLL, WBMX), and voice over artist by trade. A rock solid 'in the pocket' drummer, he and Solis lock together to form a top notch rhythm section that always keeps the grooves going.
Raising Scarlet puts on a memorable and exciting performance whether rockin' out turned up to 11 in a lively nightclub, or stripped down acoustic in a small dinner venue. With Raising Scarlet you're always sure to have a good time.
